....Note to self: Never (even if your voice does sound lower with a sore throat + a bit of mucus) try to test out the male verses of a song that's half an octave lower than your usual range when you're sick. Sure, it may be easy to reach those notes while you're singing just the melody, but actually singing the lyrics will kill your throat.
