Oh, Espy, I forgot to mention.

That "Christ is a meme" bit... sort of a nod/"take that" at Joseph Campbell and his Jungian theory that the hero-quest story is part of the collective human experience. And, you know, just poking a bit of fun at how hideously overwritten Campbell's book is, like most "literature". :p
