Wide eyes looked up at Alton who did not seem to be bothered by her sudden presence. She flinched when Alton reached out a hand to help her to her feet. It was the last thing that she expected from someone who she had labelled as an enemy. What she had thought she would have received instead of kindness was a beating or worse from him. Emily had not forgotten the conversation that the two men had had earlier. She watched the other silently, when he spoke she did not speak back yet. It was hard to tell if he was being sincere about wanting to help her up or if he was tricking her. She finally brought herself to stand up without his help, slowly though. She was keeping herself on guard, if he tried anything she would be quick to react.

"You're allowing me to go? You're not going to stop me?" the questions left her lips quickly, she breathed out heavily then in. Her eyes filled with curiosity though it was a mixture of that and fear. "Why?" for a moment she looked down at her wrists that were still bond together, she began to make an attempt to loosen the rope. Once the rope became loose she squeezed one hand out then the other. Emily allowed the rope to drop to the ground, she then began to massage one of her sore wrists. "Isn't he your allie?"

Emily looked back up at the other, her ears dropped a little when she heard Maven still causing a commotion back where he had set up camp. "My village is fine? What about me now? I have no home, they will not accept me back there after this." she shook her head then walked past Alton, she kept her eyes on him the entire time. "Now... there's an entire kingdom after me. I don't understand why this is happening to me!" she jumped a little as she heard a sudden noise, the trees seemed to be swaying. Were they reacting to her emotions? "I don't even... what am I to do now?" a shaky breath escaped from her.
