Well, my problem stems fro mthe fact that I played the PSX games growing up. Once the SE team split up and all of the good people left- the magic left the FF line forever. FFX wasn't so terrible but the characters don't draw me in all that well. FFX-2 was a lot of fun because the leveling system is similar to FFIX. FFXII was just... crap. Completely non-compelling. FFXIII was way too futuristic. There wasa complete lack of the abundance of magic present in the past Final Fantasies. It seems to higher the number they go, the less magic there is. :/ That is the point of FF, MAGIC.

So, that is my issue with SE. They haven't made a GREAT game since FFIX and now they're all about making money because their graphics look good. -huff-
