A warm feeling was in his stomach when he opened his eyes. His lover had gone, as was predicted. It would never do if someone barged in while they were sleeping to see them in a most uncomfortable position. He stood up and dressed, hoping no attendants would come in before he had time to erase the smell of the other vampire. He wondered how Sain was doing. "I don't care," he said to himself.
