Sadly, there is no permanent solution. Bullies/petty people will always be around, your best bet it to just ignore them. If you give them your attention/reactions you're just reinforcing that when they do something they'll get attention. If you don't 'feed' them that attention they'll eventually find someone else who will and wander off.
