It wasn't like she was going back and all he could do was tell someone, if they ever came across anyone. She could protect herself if need be.

She did feel bad about what she'd done, but he couldn't assume that he was protecting the glade. She had to assume that he was out to harm, not protect. If she'd figured out he was innocent, then he wouldn't be harmed. Which, this was her way of making sure of it.
