Ohhh, okay. Yeah I personally would wait I guess when it comes to event items... well generally I just don't exchange much anyway but when I have a surplus as I sometimes do with such things (as something like the boat game will produce) then I will typically not sell them during the event anyway. Mainly later on if someone wants it.
EDIT: Wooo I just got another 10 runes <3. I like that you can get them occasionally without having to buy them.
