He wouldn't fight it, hell he knew death wouldn't save him but it would prevent this from ever happening again. He wanted Mizuki to be happy and he had just destroyed that, even with Mizuki saying he loved him he couldn't accept such words.

He was still half crying and trying to hold back any further tears, though he didn't show it like Mizuki did keeping his voice steady and any real sign of pain from his thoughts hidden. He ha already done enough damage he didn't need Mizuki knowing that he was weak at the moment.
