Niaz laughed as Yuki left. His expressions amused him. He locked the door when the boy left and went to finish the wedding cake order he was working on.

The kitten has spent most of his day finding crawl spaces and watching the window to see if the bird would come back. When it got bored it nibbled on the cookie which made it hyper, when it was done being hyper it dozed. Eventually he found his way back into Yuki's room curling up among the pillow cushions into a tiny ball and sleeping again. He jumped when he heard Yuki come home, remembering the feeling of being abandoned. He hid under the bed before Yuki could see him.
