Where I lived, pretty much everyone stopped listening to boy-pop groups like that when I was... nine or ten, I think. I suppose since you're older than I am, the times match up.

Once again, it's the issue with too much detail on the face. when something's chibified with big eyes and a physically impossibly large head and nubby little limbs, and then they give them highly detail lips with lipstick and everything, and heavy-lidded eyeshadow, it just looks freaky.
