I'm still a bit jaded by when a rather professional place hired me for tutoring, then let me go the same day because I wasn't teaching "fast enough". I'd rather make sure the student actually understand the material, which is why I am a good tutor...but I have been out of school and away from academics for a while so I might not be very effective right now. It just makes me worried.

Also, I'm not sure where I'd distribute. The colleges around here have their own tutoring programs, which unfortunately I can't be hired because it's all workstudy ><
