It's not the card itself but the drive or the reader.. is that the same thing?

No clue.
It wasn't the card though because I have a new SD card and it can't be read either.

I guess I could try and restore the computer.
I'll have to save stuffs first.

If I get rid of all of Jason's stuff he will pitch a fit.
