If Avery didn't have a muzzle over his beak he would have easily over came his captors. That did not stop him from occasionally head butting them until he was thrown on the floor of a dimly lit room. He calmed his breathing. Ebony eyes adjusted to the room to the point where Avery could clearly see the outlines of the objects. They had put him in a bird cage, big enough for a human but not enough space in between so that a bird could escape. He cursed his luck, much to the amusement of the jackals that brought him.
