By the time the messenger got to the capital Rhyldrin was just leaving the Queen's presence. Some of the royal guards stopped him and took him to where the poor messenger was resting for the moment. Though the news he got was hardly something he wanted to hear. The man never spoke a word of why the king wanted to hire him, just that he needed to speak to him as soon as possible.

He agreed to the terms and went about leaving the dark elf capital and making the trip to meet with the king. It took at least a day to travel that far and he was pushing himself really. He never took the time to see how Judith was, something in his gut told him that the king wouldn't send such a message if it wasn't important.

Upon arriving to the capital he explained to the guards that he had been asked for, and the king had made a point that he did send for Rhyldrin. Though he was hardly going to like the news he was about to get from the king. He hardly liked being in the capital.. let alone the castle once more as he waited for the guard to come back and tell him the king was ready to see him.

the waiting was what got to him, such a important sounding message.. why would he need to hire Rhyldrin personally.. there were plenty of his own kind that he could call upon. After a few moments the guard came back and walked Rhyldrin to the King. It only took a few mere moments to walk to the room he was in, but for some reason Rhyldrin felt like he was going to dread whatever news passed from the light elf's mouth.

After the guard started walking away he dropped to one knee before reciting some formal blabber that he knew he was suppose to be saying in the presence of any royal, even if he had a feeling this was the same man that had hired him to kill the last king. Sure Rhyldrin had no taste in getting mixed up in royal or official affairs for that matter thus why he stayed out of the army and the royal guard. But he was still no fool as far as certain policies went, he was going to follow them unless told other wise.

"My liege, you sent word for me?" He finally did question the man before him. Though he had a idea of why, he needed Rhyldrin's skills for some task, it was why he needed his skills to go as far as sending a urgent messenger out to track him down that bothered him.
