[Quiet Man Cometh]

Morning all! Very early morning/bedtime for me. ;)

I've seen a few episodes of Criminal Minda; interrogation room and profiling and such, but I tend to lump it all in the same category. Criminal/courtroom drama, etc. I'm just tired of the lot of it. I used to watch everything: Law and Order, Law and Order:CI, LaO:SVU on occasion, all three CSI's, Without a Trace, Forensic Factor and its predesessor Medical Detectives, Exhibit A, Masterminds, American Justice, City Confidential, etc. I've taken a fair number of Criminology courses in school too, and while I'm no expert or anything, I find I can relate a lot of what I've seen to other stuff I've seen, like how some cases on CSI resemble certain cases in real life, etc. Could say I'm burnt out on it all. I still watch Masterminds on occasion though, since that deals with how criminals pulled off the really high end stuff and there is less drama and such involved. I'm at the point now where pretty everything seems familiar or done before.

Now, I sit with mom and we watched very non-suspenceful ane often humourous British Mysteries along with the old Masterpiece Mystery standbye like Poirot with David Suchet and Sherlock Holmes with Jeremy Brett. We currently rented three Midsomer Murders and 2 seasons of Rosemary and Thyme from the library. :) (to be honest though, I still watch episodes of "The Most Insane Men and Women in History" when I see them, or the odd special on serial killers or psychopaths. I'm a titch morbid like that ;).

I did in fact read mystery novels as a kid until I got corrupted by fantasy. :p.

Frogman is done. His name is Pike, which was attempt number 11 and I'm not totally satisfied with it but I probably expected it to be rejected anyway. Was thinking Dagger (yes, FF9 stuff, but it came to mind as an extention of "Pike" -weapon, not fish-) but that most likely would have been taken because of the reference just made. I'm sure the name will grow on me after a while though, like user screen names that I pick at 2am. :) He might remain a guildless rogue for a bit though. Not sure what I plan on doing with him yet.

I didn't realize the quests were different at first with a new race. I like the Anaran starting area. There are squishy green birdies all over the place. :). Makes me want to go back with my main and find that Zumi with the air ballon that took me to random valley in the middle of nowhere and I didn't know how to get out.

The Zumi creep me out still. They look like wee-evil glow-eye mice of the damned.

I'm all blue, hard to miss ;). Running with warrior right now and going to go thief when I get that high. Splitting with cleric levels because everyone needs cleric levels. :). It's also something of a hobby of mine to raise the random dead people I come across.

And this is what happens when I ramble and keep having other things to say and just keep editting them into the one post since one else is on thread to post something and stop me.

Gah. Too early to proofread this thing. Hope like heck I didn't mangle it too badly.
