Judith had heard her father speaking to another Light Elf downstairs about their visitors. She lifted herself from her bed and wandered over to her window. Judith pushed her hands against the glass and opened it half way, allowing herself to poke her head out to take a look. She had spent most of the week in her room, keeping to herself. The only time she spoke was to her father briefly when he brought her food or advised her to get fresh air. She spoke mostly to the little dragon who she hid in her room and had began to spoil with attention. She still had not come up with a name for him, really she didn't know if he already had a name or not.

The little dragon climbed up her curtains and perched himself on her windowsill. He looked up at her and chirped, he was wondering what was happening as well. "Be quiet," she hissed at him, Judith brought a finger under his chin and scratched him. "I can hear voices, only whispers and I can't make out what they are saying." she sighed quietly to herself, she felt insane speaking to the little dragon. She leaned out further to get a better look, she saw horses and her eyes wandered over the Dark Elves who sat on them. She had heard about how the talk of peace had been revived. Judith knew the king, he seemed to have interest in her and used any excuse to speak to her. It didn't surprise her when she heard the rumours, Bryon had wanted peace ever since his father's death had caused the war.

Judith began to lose interest though something caught her eye. One of the men looked familiar then she was smacked in the face as she realised who he was. She bit her tongue preventing herself from calling his name. Judith looked down at the little dragon and began to whisper. The little dragon squirmed with excitement, he had caught Rhyldrin's scent and wanted to go to him. "Find him," she said to him. "Bring him here but don't be reckless and don't get caught." the little dragon chirped, she wondered if it actually understood what she had said. The little dragon climbed down the vines that grew around and under Judith's window. Judith watched him run until she could no longer see him.

It didn't take long for Bryon to step out from his meeting room. He walked down the steps slowly, careful not to trip as he did so. His nerves were getting the best of him, he had been king for three long years now and during those three long years he had fought to end the war and now it seemed that the end was near. The Dark Elf queen was here, with little men though he assumed they were her best. He shooed away any guards who wished to escort him, he didn't mistrust the Dark Elf queen or her men. His men thought he was a fool, one day his actions would cost him his life.

Bryon stopped at the end of the stairs, he was some feet away from the group not wanting to get too close. He smiled at the queen and bowed. "Welcome," he said, his voice was rough though it was filled with kindness. "Please, I only wish to speak to you. May I escort you to my room?" he reached out a hand waiting to take her's. Bryon's eyes wandered over the men, he recognized a face though he kept any comments to himself. When the queen brought her hand to his he slowly escorted her up the stairs carefully. There was no rush.
