He listened to her, she pretty much said she hated her parents even without saying it. Though if they only praised her brother he could see why she'd hate them. Though they seemed like most light elves to him.. simple minded though his kind was the same in that fact. "You remember when we first met? I had that cut and it was still bleeding.. heh I had every intention that I was to draw my last breath that day but I was going to take out as many light elves as I could muster.." He didn't look at her while he spoke he didn't want to he never bothered to really sit down and tell anyone what he was going to tell her. "I had just found out earlier that day that both of my parents were dead.. it was during the time of the peace talks. The only thing I was really told was that they were killed execution style in the middle of the Light elf capital. The orders came from the King himself at the time."
He seemed to stop for a moment trying to figure out what to really say. "What was I suppose to do everything that I had was gone, I had been practicing day and night to follow my father in his trade and after that day I wasn't allowed to do the very thing I wanted or still held onto." He sighed after a moment and leaned back against the couch closing his eyes again. "You want to know why I don't get close to anyone.. that's why. No one bothered to speak my name even until they found out I was handy with a blade. Rather funny really, it's the opposite of what I was planning to do with my life." He smirked a bit, why was he telling her this it didn't matter it wasn't really a excuse he could have been stronger and put a foot down and stood up for what he wanted.. though as a child that was hard to do.
After she spoke again he looked at her, it wasn't what he was expecting to hear. Really he didn't think he had done that much for her.. sure as a kid he helped her out on a almost daily basis but that's cause he had nothing better to do. Though either way he listened to her talk about[her parents and that they never seemed happy with her. "You can't really blame them.. this war has been in the making for years" He wasn't going to say it was probably his fault it really sparked.. with killing the last king he thought that might be a bit too much for her. "most don't give it a chance or rather don't get the chance to talk with the other side let alone get a different opinion formed about them. I know I got a few scars from going out to the edge of the dark elf control area to see you, so it's not that hard to believe that your parents would act like that." He smiled at her, he hadn't told her when they were kids that a few times he was caught.. his kind was a little more violent then most light elves that was certain.
He waved off her sorry. his slight temper seemed to be under control once again. It had only flared because she was prying onto a topic he didn't like going into details about. "Your allowed to question, I've said it before one of us has to talk might as well be you" He went back to resting his head back and closing his eyes thinking on what to say for a moment. "It's not that I want to be alone.. I just don't want people getting close I never learned how to trust someone to get that close. Let alone on a daily basis I'm out on some mission or another with the chance that my life will end that day. How could I ask anyone to deal with that, they'd never know if I was dead or alive." He smirked a little it was odd for him to talk this much, he hated that she could get him to talk he was so use to saying little to nothing aside form yelling at the damned dragon.
Though he was brought back out of his thoughts when she spoke again. He thought she just said she wouldn't mind, but he didn't move or make notice that he heard it the first time. Though after a moment she repeated herself. When she did he opened his eyes and looked at her almost as if he was tying to see if she was telling the truth or not. Though her face said she wasn't lying, had she really just said that so openly. He didn't have anything to say to that, it surely caught him off guard. What the hell was he suppose to say to that, though he quickly recovered himself as he looked away from her. "don't say things like that.." he didn't finish his sentence that she wasn't helping temptations by saying something like that, all these years he had lived alone and avoided coming home and she was making him question all of it in just a few days time. Let alone it wasn't helping the fact that even if he did do anything to her .. what then that's all that would happen, it's all that could happen.
