Simone didn't know what to do she was so confused. The smoke was getting thick and for the love of codfish what if the cat that hissed at her thought she had something to do with the fire? It was absurd! She sacrificed some fine fabric trying to save this bunch of... ooh she wasn't feeling well. Sort of light headed and *cough* the smoke really getting to her now.

She huddled as close to the floor as possible. It wasn't so bad if you stayed really low. Slowly she made her way to where she thought the window was but the smoke was so thick when she looked up!

She kept her head down and listened.. maybe she would hear the other cats outside and she could follow the sounds.
