He wasn't sure if she was going to attack or not at first. Though he did lower his hands but it was also in case she decided it was better to try and shoot him. Really he could have killed her when she had her guard down, but why waste the energy on it. she said before she didn't want to kill .. so why bother killing someone who isn't a killer her eyes still looked as innocent as the other day.
The dragon cooed more and pawed at his leg. Getting another glare from Rhyldrin the dragon snorted before trotting it's self back toward the girl. It was only doing this because she had given it attention before and it knew all too well Rhyldrin was mad at it for running off.
The girl's question of why he brought it along was a bit sudden. He gave her a slightly unamused look before answering. "I didn't let him go anywhere, I left him at home, where he should learn to stay before someone decides to cook him as a meal.." He still held one hand near a dagger he wasn't going to trust this girl not after the last encounter. Though he had to admit the last one was fun in it's own way.
This was hardly the best place to be chatting with a light elf.. probably only a mile away from the camp he had scouted out last night. He was asking for a death wish wasn't he. "tsk really if you want him you can keep him, it'd be doing me a favor" He said out of the blue, the dragon seemed to like her enough why not leave it with her. It'd be her problem then and not his, though at his luck the damn thing would still go off and find him or he'd end up running into this girl again...
"whatever your choice I'm leaving. I hardly feel like being killed or tortured today.. heh let alone with the odds stacked against me" He smirked a bit with a slight gesture towards the direction of the camp. Though a second later he turned and started walking away from her, sure it was probably stupid to put your back to a archer.. but he some how didn't see her wanting to draw and kill him.
The dragon titled it's head watching Rhyldrin walk off a little before it looked to the girl again as if waiting to see her answer. Apparently the creature wasn't as dumb as it acted. Though really Rhyldrin had reasons for cutting this encounter short, he heard a few more footsteps being not too far off. He knew that was probably a patrol group and that's not what he needed to cross paths with during the day time.
