He stood there a few moments before lowering the blades and putting them back in the sheaths. Though he did keep one hand close to where a dagger was, he was hardly putting his guard down. He didn't hear anything as he waited, he was expecting at least a arrow to be shot at him or troops to be rushing to the area if it was a scout that he heard before. Though both seemed to not happen, odd.. he thought to himself before he started walking thinking it was better to leave this spot at the least.
He was planning to scold the dragon once he found a safer location to do so in but for now he kept his noise to a minimal. He wasn't sure if he was alone just yet, but apparently if there was someone in the area they didn't know his location either. Rhyldrin wasn't about to play this game to wait and see who found who first.. not this early in the morning. Not with the odds against him in this situation, the disrupted sleep not helping any though he did have a few good hours worth so if combat came up he'd make due.
He probably got off at least four or five steps before the dragon suddenly jumped from his shoulder and darted off into the forest. "tsk damn it!" He hissed out before he moved to go after it. 'stupid lizard.. where did you go' He was tying to find it and keep his location hidden. If he didn't locate the thing soon he'd leave it, though it was odd to think he was even wasting this much time looking.
It scurried along the forest floor as it spotted a girl standing there, being curious and a attention whore it walked up to her with a soft cooing sound. It just wanted attention and it's small size probably wouldn't scare anyone, though dragons in these parts were very rare. The creature had smelled the girl and thus why it ran over to her, it was probably too friendly for it's own good at time and probably Rhyldrin's as well.
Hearing the coos he smirked knowing it's location though about the time he noticed it's location his ears went back as he drew his swords again. 'tsk...' that's not what he was expecting to turn a corner and walk into. His weapons were drawn as soon as he noticed the bow though it was unloaded for the moment he knew too well the speed archers had even at this range a shot would be fetal.
The dragon hardly seemed worried as it sat in the distance that was between the two of them before letting out a yawn. Rhyldrin was hardly amused, sure he remembered the red hair.. but that didn't mean the outcome would be the same with her having the upper hand even with a unarmed bow. 'should have just left the damn thing' he thought to himself, he felt like a idiot even bothering to follow the damn dragon it'd have come back.. it always did.
