Judith decided that she would tell the children after supper, she told Rhyldrin and he seemed alright with the idea though really neither of them were alright with it. It wouldn't be an easy thing to tell the children that he was their father, she couldn't even imagine how she would begin to tell them. How could she possibly bring up that subject with them? Judith paused for a moment attempting to calm herself before going back to preparing their meal.

After supper she had not brought it up right away. She thought that it would be better to tell them when they were settled in the living room playing with Vrine. She began to clean up but nothing could distract her from her thoughts. Judith wandered into the living room after she was done cleaning and was quiet for some time before the children looked up realising that she was there. She brought herself to where they sat, in front of the fire place. Judith brought herself to her knees and ran a hand over Vrine's head and smiled at her children.

"There's something that I have to tell you two," she said it with ease but deep down she was nervous. Sophie and Vaden looked at their mother listening. "I know that this may be sudden but Rhyldrin will be staying with us." she said, Sophie tilted her head curious of the reason behind this. "Why?" she asked without hesitation. Judith smiled nervously at her daughter. Judith didn't really know how to tell them, though she eventually just decided to come out with it. "Well, he's going to be a very important man in your life. He has not been here for the past five years, but he will be here from now on." the children stared at her, both knew what she was saying but at the same time wanted her to be more clear. Judith let out a sigh, this was as hard as she had thought it would be. "He's your father." she said. Vaden smiled and hugged his mother, he was excited by the news though Sophie's face dropped and she seemed unsure how to react. Sophie stood, Judith did as well. "Sophie, what's wrong?" she asked as she examined her daughter's face, what was going through the little girl's mind? "I'm going for a walk!" she cried then ran to the door, she opened it and fled from the house. "Sophie! Come back here!" Judith screamed she ran to the door and peered out but she couldn't see her daughter anywhere.
