"I'm sure your still easier on him then I ever was... though i wasn't sure how you were suppose to train a hatchling either. I always thought something was wrong with him cause he never acted like any dragon I had heard of.." Though it was sort of funny in it's own way.. the dragon acted more like a family pet then anything. He had thought about taking him to the northern region to see if somehow the dragon could be released there.. but it seemed like that wasn't going to happen. He smiled a little at her saying the Vrine would work his way into the bed, he never mentioned that Vrine had always managed to work his way into the bed no matter what he did when he was a baby.
He listened to her, really he sort of felt bad that he seemed to cause her to worry so much.. sure it came with the profession but he didn't have to be as reckless as he was. He wrapped his arms around her to hold her close, something he had wanted to do over five years ago. "You really do worry too much.. have I once left you for good? I told you I'd come back" Vrine watched the two of them before walking off to the living room, the dragon seemed bored with the two of them finally.
"I'm not leaving this time, and I'll look for something else to do with myself so you won't have to worry" He said with a slight smile on his face, really he should have just stayed in the first place and found some form of work near here. She wouldn't have had to do all of this by herself then for all these years. "To be honest.. I'm sorry I left. It crossed my thoughts I should write you to see how you were but I didn't want to ruin whatever life you had found for yourself. Heh.. I was satisfied thinking you were happy somewhere" Sure there was more he could say but why .. she could probably guess he had missed her.
After a moment he did let her go before speaking again. "As much as I'm enjoying just standing here.. I think you have a few things you need to attend to" Seeing as she was cooking before he interrupted her. Plus his head was still killing him. 'I wonder if Abel got up with Jagen... ugh I'll go find him tomorrow so he can send that report' He thought to himself, it was better to at least make sure it got the right information on it.. and knowing Jagen it'd never get sent unless someone reminded him. He had something he needed to do in the capital tomorrow anyway.. so it wasn't like it was that out of the way.
