"Eh.. not really" He seemed to shrug it off is he was heavy, though he didn't seem to really be struggling with holding him so he couldn't have been too heavy. Vrine whined a little after Judith stopped rubbing his belly but he settled back down after a moment trying to look at both of them standing there. "spoiled.. " He said again before setting Vrine back down on the floor, the dragon hardly seemed pleased with being set back down. Rhyldrin stood back up before answering her, he thought of a few smart remarks but didn't say any of them. "If I do will you stop worrying?"
Sure she had a right to worry about him but still.. he did think she worried too much at times. Maybe it was a female thing, either way it was probably a good thing someone worried cause he never seemed to. Vrine sat next to Judith and looked at Rhyldrin seeing if he could con a bit more attention out of either of them, though he knew he probably wasn't going to win Rhyldrin over. He'd have to wait till the children were awake again.
He didn't answer her question at first, thinking if it was better to stay or not. Sure she wanted him to stay and truth be told he didn't want to leave.. things could be different now it wasn't like before where it was a risk of both of them being shunned.. or at least not as badly anyway. "I was planning to stay. I do have a few errands I need to take care of but it won't involve me traveling off anywhere" One was a talk with the king of the light elves, he felt like he at least owed him a thank you or some form of debt for looking after Judith all this time.
With her last sentence he smiled a little at her before moving a hand under her chin lightly and making her look at him. "I've been busy for the past five years. I think i'm due for time off. I already said I wasn't leaving as long as you want me here I'll stay. I don't have to accept any assignments from the Circle of Magic." Though he was going to have to figure out some form of work that would keep him close to this area... he had a good idea of where to look.
He let go of her chin, though he was still watching her. "it's your choice, it's been your choice all this time." Really he would have rather known five years ago about what he was just finding out, but it couldn't be helped now. At the least he could try work things through now. Though this was hardly where he thought he'd see himself.. in this situation where he was planning to settle down somewhere. But it'd probably be better for his health anyway.. it'd keep him out of taking on assignments that could potentially get him killed.
