"You know me well," she said and let out a laugh. Rhyldrin was right, even if he had told her to go away and that he could manage on his own she would have helped him anyways. I guess that Sophie gets that from me as well, she thought. Always doing things even when I tell her not to or doing things without my permission. Though Judith also thought that maybe she got that from her father, she at least got some of her attitude and temper from him. Sophie would throw fits if she didn't get what she asked for or wasn't allowed out of the house. She was also often smart with Judith, her brother and others. It didn't matter who you were, Judith would at least like to think that she would be polite with the king and queen.
When they went into the home Judith brought Rhyldrin to her room and allowed him to lay in her bed. She didn't mind if he got the sheets dirty, she would just clean them after he was done resting. "It's much more comfortable than the couch or the guest beds." she smiled at him then stood. Judith left the room then came back with a glass of water, she placed it on the side table beside the bed. "I'll make you some food in a little bit," she said then went to the door. "I'm going to tell the children that it's alright now." then she left the room and went to the children's room.
"You two can come out now," she said as she opened the door. The children ran to their mother and buried themselves into her warmth. "Are you alright?" Vaden asked his mother, Judith smiled down at him and lifted him into her arms. Then she lifted Sophie into her arms as well. "We were worried about you!" Sophie said as she held on to her mother afraid that she would leave them again. "I'm fine, don't worry." she said to them and squeezed them tightly in her arms.
