Abel agreed with her that two kids could hold her back a bit "I had a younger brother .. he was always running off so I know what it's like. I think he worried our mother to wits end at times with his pranks and always being late." He seemed to let it drop at that, though it was his late brother now the fights between the two kinds had claimed his younger brother almost as soon as he graduated the military. Though he tried his best to put forth his best foot and it did take a while before him and Rhyldrin even got on speaking terms, he didn't want to accept that things were different at first. "I rather miss the dull moments in truth" He said more to himself then anyone. He did finally smile at her though "it's not bad to want to venture at times.. staying in one place with no change for too long isn't healthy for you"
At first he seemed to be ignoring her with her talk of him worrying her and that he pushed too hard. He didn't think he did, he did what he had to do and he needed to gain better control of the element he had but that couldn't come without pushing himself further each time. "She's right you know, that's why your bleeding and you know it." Abel said standing next to Judith with his arms folded. "its a side affect of using too much energy when your body hasn't recovered it." Rhyldrin sighed before speaking though it seemed towards Abel "No one asked you..." He couldn't even bring himself to try and shrug off her worry it wouldn't stop her from doing so. "You worry too much" He laughed a little though he winced shortly after regretting that choice of words.
Abel kept his thoughts to himself, he'd probably help get him to the house though he'd be impressed if Rhyldrin willingly let anyone help him. But something seemed different between the two of them then how he treated most, it was almost like he was someone else instead of the person Abel had known for the past five years in training. Vrine quickly took to nudging Judith's hand when it fell to her side trying to get a bit of attention before they started walking.
Rhyldrin sighed finally thinking about turning her offer to help down "If I said no you'd do it anyway.." So instead he let her help or at least the best she could, he could walk mostly without her help though he was forcing it by far. "You do worry too much though.. you'll end up having wrinkles before your old" He smiled a bit after he spoke. "I do eat I promise.. just not right after using that spell." Abel was walking along side both of them with the dragon on his side as it tried to stay out of the way. Abel was only close by to ensure Rhyldrin didn't fall over, though he doubted he'd show his true fatigue.. he was good about hiding that he had noticed over the years.
"Well.. I think once we get him somewhere I'll take my leave. I told my family I'd be home yesterday" He laughed slightly knowing he was late, his parents were probably worried or at least his mother she was a worry wort but she had reason to worry. "Besides he'll be fine in a few hours, he just needs some rest and to keep him away from the drinks." Rhyldrin glared at him with the last half of the sentence. "and why do I need to stay away from them?" Abel smirked a bit "because it's not polite to drink in front of a beautiful young woman... and it'll kill you"
Rhyldrin wasn't amused by this apparently, really that was the best comeback Abel had for it seeing as drinking didn't make Rhyldrin's temper short and he never seemed to be overly affected by anything he did intake... he would know seeing as it was common that some of the groups would go out drinking and put bets on who would last the longest. It always ended up being a tie between Rhyldrin and a dwarf as far as he knew the two never settled it.
