Once he made sure his brother made it to the room ok he looked at him a little worried. "Need some water while I'm here? I was going to go back out and see if I could get a better idea of what to expect tonight.." He wasn't trying to mother hen his brother but.. it was all he had left as far as family went, what was he going to do if something happened to him. He knew his brother wasn't as strong as he was but he was still strong in his own way.

(then again you said you liked short and sweet so xD)
