My top favorite are the following:

Stargate SG-1
Stargate Atlantis
Merlin
Legend of the Seeker
Star Trek: The Next Generation
Friends

Why do I like them? Well, other than Friends, all the shows listed fall under the science fiction/fantasy genre. It is a genre that I love and have been watching many of these shows with my family for several years now. I enjoy Friends because it is one of the few situational comedies that I actually enjoy and find funny. The actors and characters had great chemistry and worked off of each other very well.
