"I remember that," she sounded annoyed recalling the incident. "You said something then I felt your hands press against my back, I suddenly could not breath then I realised that I had been pushed in." she hissed, when the little dragon nuzzled against her hand she continued to tickle him gently. "Then I felt you take hold of my arm, I was terrified that I was going to drown, but when I felt you pulling me out I knew that everything was going to be alright." she closed her eyes and smiled. "I was quite angry are you, wasn't I?" she asked and laughed. "Though I could tell that you felt bad about it, I knew that your intention was not to harm me." she opened her eyes and looked at him. By now her eyes had slightly adjusted to the dark, though she couldn't see that well anyways still.
"You use to get really angry," Judith's moved her fingers behind the little dragon's ears and she began to scratch him. "I remember that once when we met you looked as if your head was about to explode. There was always something bothering you," Judith looked down at the little dragon as it cooed and purred. "You always use to tell me what was wrong," she said looked up at Rhyldrin. "You must have trusted me." she teased him.
Judith felt him take his hand away from his own. It had not been her intention to do such a thing but it didn't feel wrong that she had done that either. Her heart continued to throb in her chest. It felt unbearable. What was she thinking? What was she feeling? Judith placed her hands on her lap, avoiding anything further. Don't think that Judith, she told herself in her head, you're a fool if you do. Nothing can ever happen. Don't let your heart get the best of you.
Though the more she thought about it the more strongly she felt about it. Whenever she had needed to be saved he was there, even when they were just children. He tended to her wounds, he fed her and had even brought her clothes to wear. Rhyldrin had risked his life for her by taking her from the cell. He was gentle with her when he could have been rough. There was so many times were he could have taken advantage of her, he could have kill her but he didn't. Stop it, she thought. She pinched herself for thinking too deeply about things. It would drive her insane to dwell on such things for too long.
Judith looked down at her lap as the little dragon crawled on to it, he nuzzled her hands and squeaked playfully. She wished that she could have that much energy right now. "You should name him," she said and began to pet him. "Poor thing doesn't have a name. He's still young and if you name him now it would be better or he will probably think that behave is his name." she said jokingly.
She lifted the little dragon from her lap and placed him on Rhyldrin's shoulder for now. She brought her legs up on to the bed and laid down next to Rhyldrin, placing her head on his lap. "You're warm," she purred. The little dragon crawled down from Rhyldrin's shoulder and in to Judith's long hair. He buried himself in it and chirped happily. She laid there for a moment then sat back up, her face had become red. "I'm sorry," she apologized. "That was inappropriate." the little dragon tumbled from her hair and squeaked as he went.
