Her sudden cry out had woken him, though really her tossing and tuning was doing a a good job at that anyway. He was a light sleeper, but it came with the calling. He had never noticed that he never bothered to light the room, though he thought about it a little as he stood and grabbed a candle lighting it before setting it on the stand next to the bed.
"for being in such ill health you move enough in your sleep.." He said though he didn't really expect her to reply, she probably was a little freaked out from whatever dream she had been having let alone the fact that she wasn't clothed. He seemed to look over her face to see if he could figure out what was going on in her mind, though he quickly gave up placing a hand over her forehead. "Whatever was after you really got you worked up didn't it..." She was covered in a col sweat, he was checking her head just to make sure she didn't have a fever from a infection or something, satisfied he took his hand back and crossed his arms standing there.
He hardly seemed to be looking over her, really the candle being lit was messing with his vision. "seeing as your up.. think you can force down some food?" He had no idea that she had a dream where he had stabbed her let alone that dark elves had taken her home. It never crossed his mind but once that it was possible that the dark elves could win the war, but he saw a truce between the two happening long before that.
He idly waited for her answer but she didn't seem to talk much, not that he expected her to have the energy to do so just yet. Making up his mind he walked to where a few more candles were and lit them as well, at the least for her benefit. "In case you were wondering its early morning and yes your still underground." He kept to his normal manner of speech being vague on details and having a rough tone yet some what caring at the same time.
Once he was done with lighting the candles placed around the room he walked back towards a small what looked to be kitchen area, most quarters didn't have a bath and kitchen but he had managed this due to the fact he was one of the top ranked mercenaries... that and the fact that the commander of this area wanted to stay on his good side to try and win him over.
"right... I never restocked from last time" He sighed a little but before he could say anything further a knock cam at the door as he glared at it. "oh for fuck sake!" Walking towards the door again he expected another messenger though he was to be wrong this time. He kept the glare on his face as he opened the door.
"RHYL!" A sudden voice called out before walking into the room before Rhyldrin could protest. "I heard you were back but I never would have believed it, you know your stalker will get wind of your return sooner or later" The man seemed to laugh though he was a little shorter then Rhyl he seemed wider..
"I didn't want it to be known... " He sighed knowing he couldn't protest it now that he was here. Though he couldn't get more then that out before the man seemed to go on glancing once towards Judith.
"Oh by the way here!" He said before shoving a pack he had been carrying at Rhyldrin "don't you ever leave that thing on my door without a warning and explaining what the hell it is! I opened that damn sack when you left and nearly lost my face"
Giving the guy a rather odd look he undid the front of the pack as a lizard seemed to crawl out, it had small wings though they were hardly big enough to fly with.. yet. It crawled to perch on Rhyldrin's shoulder as it hissed towards the other man. "Losing your face would be a improvement if you ask me" He said moving a hand to scratch the dragon's chin lightly.
"yeah yeah.... says you and your hardly a stud there" Though he was sure to be out of arm's distance from Rhyl when he said his comment. "can't believe you dropped a dragon hatchling on my door step without warning.. do you know how much you could sell that thing for?! Let alone I don't even want to know how you managed to come across it."
"money is worthless, I keep enough for what I need. Besides he's better then any dog you could get" He grinned a little knowing Boyd had a few run ins with the little dragon. He never explained where he came across a dragon egg at, it was really a deal gone wrong if he told the truth on it. "now get to the point.. why are you here.."
He held his hands up a little before setting another bag on the counter near the kitchen area. "well one to drop your damned pet off, my wife wanted to kill me the whole while, also I wanted to see if you were still in one piece or not." He smirked a little before going on. "oh the bags from the wife, she says you should eat more for your height, worry wort I know"
He seemed to pause glancing back towards Judith before towards Rhyldrin. "I also heard a rumor that you had added o your pet collection... " He said making a gesture towards the girl. "though you could have gotten a better looking one, she looks half dead over there."
His eyes seemed to narrow a little with the mentioning of the girl, though he quickly moved and started directing Boyd towards the door. "before you ask the answers no...I need her in one piece. Aside from that I'm still to track down the other red haired light elf that's been wreaking the troops.. I need her for that to work." Over all he was calling her bait for her brother and if he had half a mind and didn't enjoy the hunting part of a mission he probably would do such a thing. But for now it was to throw anyone who brought it up off of his true intentions.
He blinked a little as he was being forced towards the door. "Rhyl do you really think I'd ask such a thing... " noticing the look he was getting he smiled weakly. "ok so I would but... what about when your done using her?" By this time he was already outside of the door.
"it's still no, when I'm done with her i'll kill her simple as that, she can join her brother in the embrace of the dark goddess." He noticed that Boyd was about to protest and so he cut in before he got the chance to "I have things to do if you don't mind, rest being one of them" With that he shut the door and started walking away from it, he seemed slightly stressed from all of this. Though it was a good reminder why he didn't return home very often.
He got the dragon to get off of his shoulder and placed it on the floor, the creature seemed to notice the girl right away as it crawled towards the bed and up one of the legs to sit on the post watching her. It was a white dragon or rather it's fur was white and it's scaled wings were red with dark white webbing. It's head held only three small horns one being in the center and the other two curling around each of it's ears. The eyes were a soft blue as it watched the girl curiously.
"Behave" he called over to the dragon, apparently never giving the thing a name, though most of the time it was the only other thing in his living quarters so it wasn't hard to tell when he was talking to it. After checking the bag he seemed to shake his head a little before taking out the contents and walking to rise them. Putting them in a bowl after and walking back towards the bedside setting it down on the table next to her. "it's fruit, not poisoned I promise". At the least she could make due with that till he got the chance to get supplies.
