Judith was too exhausted to be woken up by Rhyldrin cleaning and dressing her various wounds. The weeks spent in her cell had been horrible. What else would they have been? Judith tossed and turned in her sleep when Rhyldrin had finished tending to her. Even when he had gotten angry at the Dark Elf delivering him a message she did not wake up. She was dreaming, well maybe calling it was a nightmare was much more accurate.
Judith dreamt that her home was being torn to pieces by Dark Elves. The villager's homes had been lit up, flames ate away at them, including her own. She was running, not away from it but towards it. Then she stopped, pain struck her stomach. When she looked down she had a deep wound. It went across her stomach and then she began to bleed. She pressed her small hands against her wound. Shocked she brought her hands up and saw that they were small. She was a child. Her eyes looked up from the wound and to the Dark Elf who struck her. It was Rhyldrin and he was laughing. Though he was an adult. Judith began to cry she didn't understand. "What's-"
"Happening?" she screamed then she shot up from the bed breathing heavily. Her eyes wide and the little color that she had was drained from her face. Judith had began to speak in her sleep before she abruptly woke up. Her nails had dug in to the sheets below her, she gripped them tightly. Her eyes wandered around the room but she could not see very well. It was very dark and she wondered if it were day now or still night. Judith laid back down and brought her hands to her face. She didn't even know if Rhyldrin was there and if he was then she hoped that she had not woken him up.
Maybe she was over-thinking about the dream, but she could not help but think that it meant something. It had to at least, why would it be so different? She had never dreamt something so vivid in her entire life, even as a child. Then again, why was she a child in her dream and why was Rhyldrin an adult? She wondered why he had hurt her and then she thought about how the chances of her home being taken by the Dark Elves were nearly impossible. Or was it?
She breathed out heavily deciding that thinking too much about this would only make her feel more confused. Her head began to hurt anyways. Judith decided that she should just forget about the dream. It was after all just a dream and nothing more. Her imagination had just gotten the best of her while she dreamt. That's when she realised that she was no longer clothed. She tugged the blankets over her cold body and wondered if Rhyldrin would give her new clothes or maybe he wouldn't. No, she thought and laughed quietly, he wouldn't do that to me. He isn't like the others.
