My wisdom teeth are still there, they didn't take them out. they started growing when I was 13, it didn't hurt since there was enough room in my mouth to make an easy appearance.

When I had a clean up, I was 17 they told me at some point they need to be taken out for reason of they are harder to care of and they rot away. I told them that I can't because if all four of my wisdom teeth get removed then my teeth has a lot of room to move around then it would cost thousands of dollars in oral surgery.

And I haven't been to a dentist since.
