We're all mad here.
From what I understand wisdom teeth nearly always come out, either because there's no room or because the teeth can cause infection (being weaker than other molars) then one might have an unlucky absess to deal with.

I've been told I needed min out for 10 years now. Lucky for me I was just as bad about getting my retainer removed after my braces so my bracework is all intact but my wisdom teeth have turned sideways as a result. They didn't used to be like that, I saw the original x-ray at the time. I do find I get nasty headaches now if I leave my now temporary retainer out for too long.

I have a consult with an oral surgeon (not the regular wisdom teeth guy) at the end of the month because of my mangled teeth. At least I only have three, and the third one is about pea sized with only one root (have the x-ray). My dentist is recommending I get mine done at the hospital though, because of my medical history. Suits me just fine. I'd sooner a hospital than a dentist any day!
