Ah, I recall getting mine out...learned a lot of things. However, before that....

My teeth were growing in all sorts of weird. My lower left tooth was growing parallel to the roots of my other teeth, and my upper right tooth was growing as though it was trying to come out of my face. So suffice to say as soon as they showed up I had to set up times to get them surgically removed. As my family has a weird issue with novicane, it doesn't numb the area they intend it too, we knew I'd have to be put under. However, that requires needles, and I haaaaate needles. So we went all out, I got gassed, then novicaned(not sure why, it numbed my fingertips) then put under. So starts the lessons we learned.

Lesson 1) I'm allergic to anesthesia. When I came out of it they sat me up and put me in a chair. Unless they asked me a direct question I could not respond. So every minute or so, while they waited for my mother to come get me, a nurse would stick her head in and ask if I was okay. I'd mentally scramble around and do a body check and answer yes. Until the last time, right after she asked I suddenly got an alert that I was NOT okay.... But she wasn't there to ask, so I couldn't say anything! My mother walked in as I was sick all over the floor.

Lesson 2) Friends are great who will come and keep you entertained while you recover...but don't bother watching movies, you'll remember nothing. We watched two movies that first day, and to this day I recall one scene from each movie. Not important scenes, just random ones.

Lesson 3) Vicoden is NOT my friend. It in no way stopped any of my pain, but it did help me realize what all I'd NOT eaten for the last week.

But all in all it wasn't bad. I got lots of milkshakes and other foods I liked(mom felt guilty about me getting sick). And I don't have to worry about weeeeeeird teeth.
