Rachel's heart pounded in her chest, she felt as if she was going to be sick. She felt as if she was dreaming. A vampire had tried to bite her, she brought one hand to her swam-like neck and touched it. She never would have thought such a thing could happen. Especially where she lived. She flinched as he played with her hair, her stomach turned nervously inside of her.
