Mother Ship
Yukio smiles at his brother a bit. “That’s a good way to think of it.” He wasn’t thinking of it that way...though it is a nice way to think of things, less depressing. “Yes, we’re good boys…but remember, even the best people mess up and do something wrong once in awhile.” Humans are humans. And humans are imperfect. “And sometimes…people expect perfection.” Which is why Yuki sometimes gets punished….like with the shopping list. Yukio always really wanted to hurt that master once he knew about that little thing. “Luck? I doubt they’re so small that they can’t be seen, so there is a little possibility that we could find it. And Yukio isn’t planning on bringing up cameras in the bathrooms unless he actually happened to find one. Until then, he’ll hope and pray that there aren’t any.

He smiles a bit more. To his knowledge, his brother is the only one who has been able to get him smile. Take that as you will. He trusts Yuki the most out of everyone he’s met so far, to say the least. That feeling is mutual. “I’d rather it be me than you.” He says softly, especially in cases like that. Where Yuki can’t really help it and he tried his hardest. “I…can’t promise that, but I’ll try not to.” He won’t let Yuki get a punishment he doesn’t deserve if he can help it. Though, sometimes, there’s nothing he can do about it either way. “Just keep on improving though…becoming better is never a bad thing.” Unless one becomes proud because of it.

Yukio takes his brother’s hand as they begin to walk. He’s taking in his surroundings a bit since he doesn’t like the idea of getting lost. “Ah…probably not actually. This is a more upscale garden. There might be expensive plants here.” Since Yukio doesn’t know what actually makes a plant expensive. “Or rare plants…it might be fenced or gated and the like. So no one can steal the expensive and rare plants.” Though it is possible that they could get out that way. “That’s the main problem.” Yukio doesn’t even have a clue of where they might or might not go, but maybe he’ll be able to figure something out someday.

“That’s the point of gardens, to remind us that those things, peace, harmony, and beauty, still exist in this world.” Even though people may not see it often enough. “Don’t be like that.” There’s sadness in his voice as he pulls Yuki over and hugs him. “You aren’t a waste of space…they just never saw the good points apparently. They were blind.” It hurts him any time that Yuki thinks like this. No one should ever think that way.

Yukio kind of jumps as well, not expecting that voice again. He needs to get used to the voices out of nowhere. He kind of starts petting Yuki a bit, trying to be comforting and calm him down. “It’s a voice we’ve heard before.” It’s the master. “It’s close to an hour. An hour is 60 minutes, remember?” He’s just reminding him a bit of time counting. Repetition is the key to learning.

Yukio nudges his brother a bit, giving him the go ahead on the find the breeze thing. As Yuki bows, on instinct Yukio does the same thing. Habits are hard to break, be they good or bad. “I don’t think he is a slave. A house like this, if there were more…we would’ve heard them or something by now, wouldn’t we?” He’s not completely sure about that. Some people are pretty good at being sneaky/quiet. He wraps an arm around Yukio a bit as the other shakes. “It’ll be okay.”

Yukio sighs a bit in the room. So many books….too bad they didn’t have the chance to read them probably. Then…he could help Yuki with them…and eventually he could read them on his own. And even if he needed help, there are more things to learn from books than what they’ve learned so far. They’ll need knowledge if their fates ever change…and it never hurts to better yourself.

He just tries to soothe his brother as the bookshelf moves. “Calm down, it’s alright. It’s….apparently meant to do that. You putting a book back isn’t going to do something like that.” Unless the walls were made of dust or something that is. At the question, he tugs Yuki forward and through the open way.

(I hate this reply btw)
