Mercury Poisoning!
Calculating. That was the word Theron thought described his father perfectly. The older demon, Thanos, sat sideways in his thrown, his legs splayed over the arm rest and his head hung off the other side. His long black tail swung back and forth as he stared at the ceiling, betraying his aggravation. He was in deep thought, determining his next move.

Next to him, on a different and far less gaudy thrown, was his wife, Nerissa. She looked away from her husband and instead focused her gaze upon her son, Theron. He squirmed under the weight of her eyes. She had always been a quiet women, never really revealed what she was thinking, but growing up with such a mother Theron had realized how much she could convey with a simple look. Her eyes said concern, determination, and a secret fear. Theron did not look at her. He did not want to feel these things.

Theron instead gazed at his father, waiting for a sign that his contemplation was at an end, but the silence stretched on. Just as he was about to give up and go back to his room Thanos's tail smacked the hard floor and he stood looking decidedly at Theron. "You need to find her. Kill her while she is still a demi-goddess." He said.
Theron simply nodded, knowing little of who he spoke but understand who she was. "Of course." He replied, and with that his path was set.
