As the swing missed her opponent's feet, Asione fell forward slightly from the force of her own blow as the woman stepped back and swung her own blade. A week ago Asione might have been unprepared for such an attack but she had not survived the constant fighting from just being lucky. She let herself drop further as she unhooked her second scabbard from her belt and swung it upward to deflect the blow, though she was unable to stop it entirely as it nicked her shoulder. Luckily the pain did not seem to be bad, and she flicked the scabbard off the second sword with her thumb.

Breathing lightly, Asione responded, "You said you were my opponent, not my enemy. You seem to be a bit more interesting in enjoying the fight rather than if you were to win or lose." Asione steadied herself for a moment before her next attack, when she slashed with her left sword towards her opponent's sword arm, followed quickly by her right sword.
