The smell of blood was everywhere, or she had become so accustomed to it that she hardly noticed it's presence or not. The inside of the building was no different, excpet that it lacked a lot of the other smells that followed battle; the dust, the sweat, the metal, and it was a cleaner smell than the gangrene and human waste that permeated areas of the medical tent at times.
She didn't care. It wasn't loyalist, it wasn't rebel, and someone willing she wouldn't find anyone who still insisted on talking about the war and the overthrow of the Queen. She was here for her reasons and to help free the arco. She wasn't interested in the politics behind it all.
Inside the building she noticed one other figure, the man she recognized from the training grounds within the rebel camp: another person not from this planet. At the moment she just wanted to be in a place where she didn't have to think about the war for a moment, to work out some of the frustrations that have built up over the days of fighting, even if the place she found did still smell like blood.
