Mercury Poisoning!
Default   #13
Annabelle wasn't one to give up on people, it was her stubborn side that seemed to kick her in the ass more so than anything. She closed her eyes, listening to him, and sighing softly. So he was basically in the same boat as she was. She bit her lip, was her facade over for a moment? Maybe he'd understand, fall in line if she told him. She questioned it, mulling it over bitterly as she stood there. She ran her fingers through her snowy white hair, walking over slowly, she rested her hand on his back softly, rubbing it as he cried. "I may.. Not dress, or bow like a queen should.. But I love.. like many Queen's do not.." she said as she sat down before him, her hand gently stroking his back. She had a soft spot on her. She reached forward with her free hand, the back of her hand brushing away the tears he missed before she swept away her own. "I know.. What it's like.. I understand.. The feeling of loss.. of betrayal.." she said quietly. "I'm the only one in my family, born with snowy white hair.. My Dad figured.. my Mum, had me with another man, but loved me anyways. He stuck by my family, despite my Mom's drug addiction, and prostitution.. My brother's alcohol addiction. He stuck by every single one of us, and the normal one, myself, ended up being the least normal of all. My Dad tried to leave with me, having been fed up with my Mum's drugged up fits, he didn't want me taking the abuse. We fled through a window while she was pulling in the drive, so she'd come in and not know.. She found out.. She shot my head in the head.. and his blood.. splattered all over my face.. " she paused, shaking with sobs herself now. "I may not be a proper Queen.. But I care about the patients here.. Everything feels better.. When I pretend to be a Queen.. Because it brings me to the family I'd always dreamed of, a family like yours had been.." she said quietly, hanging her head.

She looked down, her hand sliding down his back to rest on her knee. "My Dad, much like yours, was everything to me." she said as she opened her now bloody red, shot eyes. She ran her hand through her snowy white hair. "Promise me.." she whispered. "That you wont tell anyone..A-about anything.." she stammered shyly. "I..Need my fairytale.." she said as she rose, grabbing her bottoms and pulling at them slightly, she curtsied and looked down at him, walking away to the cafe to grab some lunch.
"Everyone else is either asleep or having sex. I've been watching cable television and eating jello."
