"Well, yes, I was. I wasn't one of those rowdy ones, but one of those street boys that never got any attention and was looked down upon by most people. I did have a thing with one, girl, but she found out that I was on the streets and I never saw her again. After that I was sure my life would always be like this, having no one to care but, I like to think that you cared in some way and took notice to me. I guess that is why I didn't run away.
