I enjoy both- I keep silly things like Tumblr, and OpenDairy(That's the website name) but I find the complete lack of feed back and the feeling like I'm writing to no one kind of saddening. I mean- websites like that are meant for people to read and respond. Or at least I think that, especially when you actually post something thought provoking. I mean- I see more replies on things that are stupid than things that are meaningful, which is kind of a level of disappointment all it's own.

I used to keep a journal, and I even went so far as to writing it in a different language. But it never got me anywhere. My mom would translate it and read it. And if I bought one with a lock on it I'd be questioned. So at least that way I can lock files, or erase my history. Though I find something more fresh about writing in a book, you can't take back what you write. Only cross it out, try to cover it or rip out a page.

Both are nice but come with their own kind of cons.
