[Quiet Man Cometh]

Yeah. I always tried to be really carefull but still got dark finger tips.

I miss that house. We even had an asian apple pear tree. It was just dumb luck that our pear tree was one of the four types that were able to polinate with it. My mom had piles of berries adn some other fruit; strawberries, rhubarb, alpine strawberries (love those :), the apples trees and the pear tree. We had logan berries growing off the compost heap fence.

Our plum tree there never grew a darn thing but we could trade with the neighbour for some of her blackberries, zuchinni, and plums. She had huge zuchinni plants.

We had potatoes too thar rampaged under the strawberries one year. We found them when we were digging out the strawberry patch. We had tomatoes and herbs around too. Lemon balm that rampaged everywhere, and one rosemary bush that for some reason did really really well. I used to like eating the tops of the fennel, and some manner of edible blue star looking flower that apparently goes on salads sometimes.
