Heroes
Lucid- Winner!
Sapphire Edge
" Oh, this is ridiculous..."
Sapphire Edge. This was her identity now. It felt different and a little scary. But surely it was the right thing to do. The costume definitely felt silly. But every female superhero has to ooze sex appeal, right? After catching her fiancee cheating and subsequently throwing his car into the harbor, Emily knew she was different than most women and had to put that to good use. Using her strength to wield a sword the size of her own body, nobody would dare defy her again. New York was safe as long as she was there to frighten everyone into submission.
Suzerain of Sheol
Xavier Akatschia
The firstborn royal son of an oppressed vassal-kingdom, Xavier grew to adulthood in the shadow of tyranny, seeing daily the injustices perpetrated on his people which he was helpless to prevent. Tutored by lore-masters and priests, he was a prodigy: gifted in intellect, compassion, empathy, and wisdom. Also incredibly adept physically, his only flaw was, perhaps, too high of an estimation of himself, for in his late 20s, he left his homeland on a quest for an ancient, forbidden power: the secret of godhood itself. With it, he would return to his kingdom and liberate his people from their destitution, creating a land of miracles. However, this end was not peacefully-attained in his mind, and Xavier suffered greatly for what he knew he must do: plunge the world into war to achieve his dream. Perhaps fortunately for those who would have perished in his war, he never returned from his perilous journey.

Suzerain of Sheol- Winner!
Kehs'tel'estra
A false prophetess, nurtured by a fallen angel to bring about the death of an age. She suffered a harrowing loss when she was younger, which led to the awakening of the dreadful powers within her. Leading a rebellion against the corrupt theocracies and ecclesiarchies of the land, she traveled from village to village working false miracles, gathering followers to her cause and forging them into an army of fanatic murders. Her favorite ploy is send a terrible plague to a town, well ahead of her coming, and to arrive as a savior, healing the sick and raising the dead, enslaving people in their very hearts with a false vision of salvation. She affects a humble, contrite, and austere persona, with a spark of hidden passion just visible enough to entrance those who meet her, but beneath the facade, she is a cold void of sentiment, cruelly assessing and judging others, valuing them as nothing more than disposable implements for her machinations. She wields a khopesh carved from the petrified wood of the World Tree, and has used to it personally behead the greatest of her enemies, all to choruses of adulation from her enraptured followers.
