Yeah, I have been tempted to do so, too.
But I didn't delete my old fan Fiction accounts and such.
I usually wrote only fan fiction one shots, though. And some of them, with some fixing up, wouldn't be so bad.
I usually don't have time to commit to long time project, like a book, or I simply grow out of it + something happens to kill my wish to work on it (one of my first stories in English got kinda stolen by a friend to whom I was mostly writing it for, so I never really finished it, especially since at 15, I wanted different story line than at 13). I am trying to write something for my story every week now, though. I really care for it.
