So Tai and myself share a laptop and the poor darling is now 6 years old. Yeah, old bugger. So I want my own before this one drops dead, but I have no idea what to look for.

I want good memory, ability to handle at least Sims 2 and a few expansion packs and user friendly.

I want to know what range I should look at and prices. I am in UK, so GBP would be love. What is the least I should go for and what is the most?

I also want to think about anti-virus. I saw one that was called 'Titanium'...something. It was on offer but that would be long gone or whatever.
