When the girl ripped out of his hold, Gavin grunted. He wasn't holding her with a death grip or anything, but she was strong and fiesty. Maybe she knew where another exit was and was heading in the direction fast without any curtosy for the sake of getting out of there as soon as possible. Either way, Gavin ran after her, catching up and following closely behind. A small frown lingered on his face as he saw their destination however, and he cringed a little as the girl opened the door and went in. There was no exit in the washroom, it was only a place to get trapped inside of and an easier place to be cornered and defeated. Gavin was definitely considering leaving the girl behind at this rate and just heading out himself. After all, the girl hadn't even said anything to them since they had metm other than 'more what', which was basically uselless.
The glow on the girl's hands however attracted Gavin's attention, captivating his senses and even stopping his flow of electricity for a little bit with his mind concentrating on that instead of his self defence mechanisms. It was a bright, glowy, like a glow stick that had been cracked a few too many times. It had a purely organic sense to it though, not synthetic like a glow stick, and sort of like how magic when it was used. Only when he focussed on the girl for a bit did he notice that she looked like she was gradually looking more youthful and revitalized. It was slightly slipping his mind, he had never seen anything like it before, but was the water and glow in her hands what was making her like that? To Gavin, although however unlikely the conclusion was, it made sense. The girl after all did become more peppy after he had dunked her in water from his barrier around her just being forgotten about.
Gavin's eye's flickered to pure hostility as he felt a presence come near him, not far away now since it was with their own, slow footsteps that Gavin had heard them. They were way too close. The man that was approaching him now had his hand up, but hell to that, the man could use magic. With nothing short of a growl, Gavin turned right back around from the direction he was going to follow the girl and took a swipe at slimming his fist into the other with his electricity. The blond didn't even want to know how this guy knew his name. In his hostile, violent ways, Gavin's dog tags started to spark on his chest, fully showing that he was riled up for a good fight now, unarmed or not. It was only when his electricity discharged again did something pull him back.
A small, tiny sense of familliarity. It was a tiny little feeling that Gavin wanted to crush, to kill instantly and let his training and instincts take over, to just kill the man. Yet, what was even the point at that rate. It not like the guy had approached him with hostility. Cut the man some slack, was what Gavin figured for a few moments, trying to piece together exactly what was going on. The sense of familliarity was slowly fading, and it was only small to begin with. He knew this man, but not from where. Either he was someone he worked with long ago, someone that he had met years ago and had now forgotten from the time gap, someone of high political power, or someone who he had fought against and was strong enough to live through the outcome. The latter could be struck off the list, Gavin knew all of their faces pretty well, and the man in front of him was not any of those. A seventeen year old mind only had room for so many names and faces over the years anyways. What better way to find out which of the other options than to ask?
"Who are you?" Gavin hissed out, not fitting his soothing, soft voice at all. It was like have the fluffiest bunny one could find spewing acid right at someone's face. Despite that however, Gavin was fully in his battle position, prepared to take this guy on should he even move one muscle other than the ones in his lips. The electricity was basically sparking right off him now and arking off his hair.

4 minutes. 4 minutes was all it took Luther as he sped accross town in a stolen, governemnt vehicle. Always had to be government, there was no way he was going to get in trouble for anything else than what he could wiggle out of. Of course, it had taken a few extra minutes to ensure it was indeed owned by the government and not an innocent citizen, but that was hardly mentionable. Going 160mph and having the cops following you really allowed for everyone to get off the road and for the cops to fall behind. By the time he had gotten to the place that he was so dearly hopeing his cousin was in, he barely registered that there were brakes on the vehicle, smashing the thing right into the building and using magic to create and handy dandy way out while the car neatly made his introduction for him.
"Yeah! Let's burn this pile of rubble to the ground!" Luther was cocky enough, smirking the whole while while he was speaking. There was no way he could be wrong anyways, he was always right about these sorts of things. Always. He was that good, and he stroked his own ego.
Gavin's weapons were unfortunately weighing him down, but he made it accross the first floor to find the stairs without too much of a problem. It was odd to him, no one was there. Maybe it was because he was so awesome that they all peed their pants and fleed downstairs. Or maybe they were after Gavin and that "super pretty awesome girl that Gav can't take his attention off of". Luther picked the earlier. It sounded better, both as a situation and alas, another ego booster. To say that Luther had self esteem issues was like saying that water doesn't feel like wet. The only problem now was that there was this stupid security clearance thing that was in his face telling him he couldn't go down. Screw security codes. Luther tackled the door down, bringing in some magic to back him up. After all, he was recovery and buffs, he could do those sorts of things to bring up his brute strength. While not being elemental was sort of a let down at times, it sure had physical perks too, note the really nice six pack that could basically be seen under his off-white dago tee. Luther was incredibly proud of that. Though chances were that he looked like some pretty boy with his black, loose fitting jeans and light leather belt. He wore Gavin's belts, but no one needed to know that. The only thing that would make him really look mean was the tattoo he had below his left eye; three spikes with dots in between, tribal flame on the ends.
Browns eyes smirked as he saw his first victims. Luther didn't even waste his time as he pulled out his handgun and just fired at them. It was sort of depressing to the brunette; no one was defending themselves with magic, and they would all die from the bullets, not even staying to up be slashed by his own gunblade. The only upside was that it would make the journey down to Gavin faster.
