Hmm... those are all cool. I think 1 is the most logical and "safest" if you will. I do really like two, though, and think it's slightly more interesting. But three is something unexpected, which is also appealing.
Up to you, but I think I think one is the most likely, given what's gone on in the setting.
Also, is it not possible that Lev is psychologically damaged in addition to this possession?
