Well, the problem with that here is that you'll be going to those places within like an hour of playtime, and even with my fairly-accelerated experience curve, you don't increase in power *that* much to justify doing something like that.

Though, granted if I let you head east to Mandelaine right at the beginning of the game, you'd get slaughtered. :p
