The next morning, Adelais was rudely awoken to his phone buzzing on the end table next to his bed. He growled, opening it after seeing it was Genevieve again. "What do you want? I'm not in the mood to talk about last night..." "Aw come on Ade~ Don't get all 'I hate the sun/morning cause I'm a vampire' on me. I will not tolerate that kind of behavior. Just tell me how it went? You don't have to be specific..." He sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose, "This could not have waited until sometimes after 8 am? Either way..it was..interesting..there..now good bye." He shut the phone before she could respond then pulled out the battery, laying back down. He draped his arm over his eyes. He knew she called him so early on purpose...he really should've adjusted her memories, but he felt wrong for doing it. She was one of his closest friends this time around in the U.S...and she handled the confirmation rather well...he figured she was competent to handle it.
With another heavy sigh, he hauled himself from the bed, running his hand through his pitch black hair. What am I going to do with that woman? He chuckled lightly as he stood and headed for the shower after grabbing a clean set of clothes. He decided to take an extra long and relaxing shower; he deserved it after all. Once he was fully dress, he sighed as he combed through his hair. His one sided gaze couldn't help but peek at his nearly white, right eye.
While he had been blind in that eye since he was 5, it was still rather strange that when he turned, it didn't repair. Was it because he had had the injury for so long previous? Who knew. His memory flashed back to when the knife was rammed into his eye, and even though he told Gene that his mother did it[and with a little knife], it was done by a complete stranger to him. He was lucky to have survived the incident, even with him being a vampire.
With a sigh, he left the bathroom and went to grab his eye patch and tied the knot behind his head. At least, his eye patch deterred humans from approaching him. That was one good thing. After making sure it was secure, he headed downstairs, pondering what he could do today.
